About DEXENT

An execution partner for international business

DEXENT designs and executes the operating structure behind international projects. We manage the participants, trade, compliance, logistics, and local operations required to turn a business objective into execution.

Founded on 50 years of shared experience

DEXENT was founded by two of the leading experts in international business and logistics. Together, the founders bring 50 years of shared experience in high-complexity projects across the Americas.

That experience defines how DEXENT works: understanding the business first, anticipating what each country and transaction requires, and managing the people and resources that make execution possible.

Designed around the business objective

A new market, a technology rollout, or a cross-border transaction calls for more than a booking. The parties, responsibilities, documentation, infrastructure, and local requirements need an operating plan. DEXENT develops that plan around the result the client needs to achieve, with Importer of Record (IOR) and Exporter of Record (EOR) services as the core of the import and export structure.

A selected network. A managed operation.

DEXENT works with specialists and infrastructure providers selected for the requirements of each project. Warehousing, transport, customs support, and technical execution can involve different local partners. DEXENT manages their scope, handoffs, and communication within the agreed operating plan.

This model allows the project’s requirements to determine the resources used. The client receives a defined operating structure, with responsibilities established before execution begins.

Oversight, reporting and escalation span the whole project

Clarity

Make requirements, costs, responsibilities, and decisions understandable before the operation proceeds.

Coordination

Connect the international project plan with the specialists responsible for execution in each market.

Growth

Create operating structures that can support repeat transactions and expansion into additional markets.

Six ways we work differently

Solution-first

We begin with the objective, product, countries, and commercial commitments. The operating plan follows those requirements.

One point of orchestration

We align providers and local participants around defined responsibilities and a single point of accountability for the agreed operating scope.

Global + Local

We connect international planning with the knowledge needed to execute in each destination.

Compliance by design

We build regulatory and documentary requirements into solution design, before they become execution issues.

Agility

We select resources according to the transaction’s scope and adjust the plan when circumstances change.

People + Technology

Experienced people handle decisions and exceptions. Reporting tools support communication and operational visibility.

Governance

Control belongs in the operating plan

International execution calls for documented responsibilities, regulatory review, provider oversight, and clear escalation routes. These topics form part of the project scope discussed with clients and local participants.

  • Ethics
  • Anti-corruption
  • Trade compliance
  • Agent due diligence
  • Duties and taxes
  • Supplier controls
  • Risk review
  • Document traceability
